Staff Biographies

	Andy Crossley Andy Crossley graduated from Leicester Polytechnic in 1992 with a degree in Business Studies. He joined top 20 firm UHY Hacker Young and rose to Senior Manager, qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1996. He joined Baldwin Cox in 2004 and became Managing Director in 2006. As well as giving sound business advice, he specialises in corporate matters and corporate finance work. Outside of the office Andy is a sports “nut”, having now ceased playing cricket he is a keen marathon runner having taken part in events across Europe and North America. He is a regular watching the Nottingham Panthers Ice Hockey team and is a keen American Football viewer.
	Les Williams Les Williams has over 20 years’ experience in tax. He has also run his own business so he understands the day-to-day issues facing business owners. In his spare time, he supports Everton Football Club and is involved in guide dog puppy training.
	Eithne Cantwell Eithne Cantwell is a qualified accountant (ACCA) with extensive experience of working in practice, the public sector and industry. She has worked for companies in Nottingham, London and Dublin. Eithne provides financial management and strategic advice to a full range of business entities from large organisations to small growing businesses. Away from work, Eithne is a keen traveller and a committed Christian who is involved in a city centre church.
	Angela Ward Angela Ward is a member of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals. Angela has been with Baldwin Cox for over 20 years and has seen the payroll department continue to grow and now helps around 200 clients annually to fulfil their payroll responsibilities. Angela is married with two daughters, is a Christian attending Beeston Oasis Christian Centre and loves sport, particularly supporting Nottingham Forest Football Club.
	Douglas Quinnell Douglas Quinnell has over 14 years of tax experience and is a member of The Association of Taxation Technicians. He oversees all the tax work of the practice and has collectively saved businesses and individuals over £2million in tax through careful tax planning. No tax avoidance schemes. No aggressive tax planning. Simply understanding the clients, their needs and what can and cannot be done. Away from work, Douglas is a family man who loves cooking as well as classic and modern cars.
